Our practice philosophy is very simple: we want to treat our patients as we would want to be treated. While it is impossible to please every single patient, we strive to provide the best care possible for you and your family.

We specialize in Medical and Surgical Dermatology. Much of our focus is on the detection and treatment of skin cancer (abnormal "moles," pre-cancer lesions, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma). We also treat numerous other conditions such as warts, cysts, irritated moles/keratoses, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, allergic skin reactions, and other skin diseases.

As General Dermatologists, we are as comprehensive as possible with our care and see patients from a few weeks old to 100 years old. We see patients who are well and we see patients who are sick. We see patients with acute conditions requiring no follow up visits and we see patients with chronic illnesses.

Dr. Akash Patel, Dr. Les Howsden, and Dr. Kevin Kia consider it a privilege to care for patients from all over the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex, including Garland, Dallas, Rockwall, Rowlett, Mesquite, Richardson, Plano, Forney, Murphy, Wylie, and Sachse.
